What to expect at your 1st appointment
We’re so excited to meet you at your first orthodontic appointment! When you arrive, you’ll notice familiar surroundings, we’re located inside Mountain Kids Pediatric Dentistry, so you will see some familiar faces from your dental visits.
During your initial exam, we’ll complete a thorough evaluation of your teeth and bite. This includes taking x-rays and photos of your mouth. Afterward, we’ll walk you (and your family) through what we found and discuss any recommended treatment options.
We’ll make plenty of time to answer all of your questions, nothing is too small or too silly to ask. We know questions can come up after you leave, too, so feel free to call or text us anytime. By the end of your visit, our goal is for you to feel informed and confident. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of your unique needs, any recommended treatment, how long treatment may take, and what the investment will look like.
Preparing for your first appointment:
- Please send us any panoramic X-rays taken within the past 6 months if they were done at an office other than Mountain Kids Pediatric Dentistry.
- If your insurance hasn’t changed and you’re a current patient of Mountain Kids Pediatric Dentistry, we’ll already have your insurance information. If it’s changed, or you’re a new patient, please make sure to bring your card with you to your first appointment.
